Deborah Lamb of Independence Road Concord is among 366 seniors to graduate at Wellesley College next Monday. It will be the 82nd commencement. Lamb is the daughter of Mrs. Deborah L. Gillette and majored in Biblical history after attending Katherine Branson School Ross California and Wheaton College in junior year. She edited Freshman Mocus and belonged to the International Relations Club.
The Concord Planning Board will hold a public hearing Monday at 8 PM in the Town House court room. Four subdivision petitions are listed from Newbury on Lowell Road for two lots in a two acre zone, Farmers Cliff Realty Trust for 11 lots in a two acre zone, Maurer on Bruce Road for four lots in a half acre zone, and Hagerty on Old Road to Nine Acre Corner for nine lots in a one acre zone.
Carlisle memorial day services drew many attendees with a first meeting at Spalding School led by Col Jean Jack of Hanscom Base. A parade under Oscar E. Pedersen went to cemeteries for observances. Participants included school band pupils veterans town officials scouts and groups. Taps honored veterans at the cemetery and a church dinner followed.
Concord high school will host an outdoor student art show on Stow Street, featuring sculpture ceramics enameled jewelry water color oil tempera and drawings. Viewing hours are 10 a.m. to 2 30 p.m. weather permitting. If rain occurs the exhibit moves to Thursday same hours.
Concord Carlisle Regional High School Committee and nearby town residents plan a Saturday tour of the new buildings and grounds at 10 a.m. Officials involved in the construction planning are invited to attend.
Masses were sung at St Bernard's Church last week in memory of Annie OConnell and in honor of Patrick and Theresa. The service reflected on their lives and prayed for their families.

Red Cross Bloodmobile collected 70 pints on Thursday amid weak donor turnout. Of 165 potential Concord citizens, 98 donated and some were unable due to health issues. 19 walk ins donated 12 pints. Only about half of 23 volunteers showed up. Last Concord visit of season with a plan to Dewey Army Division plant on Wednesday June 8.
Concord Miss Susan Noble a Bouve Boston Tufts freshman in physical education attends a four week camp session at Camp Monomoy East Brewster. The program forms part of the school curriculum teaching campcraft and outdoor sports. Noble is daughter of Mr and Mrs Charles L J Noble of Lowell Road.
Nancy C Woodruff and R Rice graduate from the University of Massachusetts Sunday. Woodruff earns a bachelor of arts and Rice a bachelor of science as part of a class of 691. Provost Shannon McCune will deliver the commencement address.
A town meeting is scheduled at Spalding School Monday at 7 30 p m with Moderator Guy W Clark presiding. The warrant listing 11 articles includes topics on school needs building and committees. Proceedings aim to take official action on the listed items.
Two men robbed a 73 year old New York newsdealer, David Tokofsky, by knocking papers from a stack onto the sidewalk and rifling the till as he bent to retrieve the papers. The incident occurred Monday.

The American Red Cross urged contributions to aid victims of Chilean earthquakes and Pacific tidal waves. Edward Motley, chairman, said donations through the Concord Chapter at 2 Stow Street fund essential relief including clothing, food, and medical facilities amid widespread cold weather hardships.

Joe Dee, a World War I veteran and armorer at the State Armory, carried the flag in the Memorial Day parade marking his 41st year of participation since he began in 1919. This parade also counted as his 46th holiday celebration.

All local classes end Wednesday and graduation for 27 eighth graders is set for June 9 at 8 pm in Spalding Auditorium where Supt. Ralph C. Glidden Jr. will present diplomas. Class trip to Canobie Lake is planned for Monday or, if rain, Tuesday.
A state Armory parade under Commander David B. Little honored veterans from Spanish to Korean wars. The march passed Main Street cemeteries then Monument Square with bands, color guards, wreaths, and church services at Trinitarian Congregational and St Bernard's.
