Funeral Services For Patrick Hopkins
Funeral services were held for Patrick Hopkins 68 who died Saturday. A requiem high mass was offered at St Bernard's Church followed by burial at St Bernard's Cemetery. Hopkins an Ireland native living in Concord for years is survived by sister Mrs Julian McBreen and several nieces. He worked as a weaver at the American Woolen Mills in Maynard before illness forced retirement.

Concord Realtor Everett Flagg Dies at 86
Concord and Worcester native Everett Flagg 86 died at his Lowell Road home after a brief illness. Born October 2 1853 in Acton he moved to Concord 20 years ago from Worcester where he ran a grocery business. He belonged to Quinsigamond Lodge Odd Fellows Old South Congregational Church and the former Concord Men's Club. Survived by nephew Harland W Flagg of Newton and three nieces Mrs Florence Wood Littleton Mrs Lula Larrabee Auburn and Miss Rena Keyes Worcester. Private funeral held at his residence with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery Acton.

Military Rites for A L Cushin 64 Held Sunday
A military funeral was held Sunday for A L Cushing 64 formerly of Concord who died at Chelsea Soldiers Home Friday. The service at the funeral home included a full military detail from Corporal Ralph P Hosmer Camp No 55 USW V Dear and Arch Archie Simps Adjutant Walter Blodget Concord detail. A Fort Devens firing squad carried out the committal with a volley and taps. Cushing a former Colonial Inn clerk in Concord served in Company 8B Ft Maine Infantry during the Spanish American War. He was born in Portland Maine and survived by two sisters.

Autoist Saves Car From Train At Parker Crossing
South Acton resident Franklin Smith on Wetherbee Road escaped injury in fog when his car stalled on the Weston & Maine tracks at Parker Crossing after hitting a post.
