All matter must reach the office by Tuesday night to appear in the same week issue. Early receipt prevents condensation or delay of articles. News and advertisements may be left with F. B. Ganderson Riverside block and subscriptions at FR. J Coughlin's news room.
Maynard residents socialize and travel with neighbors and guests from Lawrence Manchester and West Boylston. Local moves include James Tallon planning a household move to Ohio and Michael Powers joining the Lowell N E league team. Police appoint Samuel G King for day duty and a Stuart Salisbury nuptial event draws Maynard participants.

Josiah Bacer, a P. W and B.R.R. conductor, had suffered catarrh for 35 years. He read Geo. Hearn’s testimonial in a Brazilian balm circular, spoke with Hearn, and began using the salm. Initial months showed little change, then steady improvement to his own satisfaction.
Local items include visits by Miss Maurina Edson and Miss Josephine Whittier, trips to Nantucket and Salem, and a wedding announcement for Miss Anna Pitch. Concerts, real estate activity, and postal updates mark community life at Concord Junction with notices on mail from Boston and foreign mail schedules for August 1902.
The order allows redemption of unused postal cards from oil purchasers after August 1 1902 in stamps or paper at 75 percent of face value. Damaged or bronzed cards are ineligible and partial cards are not accepted. Redemptions over 25 cards require proper facing and banding in packs of 25.
Sunday visitors in Holderness and Green Harbor report leisure trips and vacations. Concord residents return from Camp Lexington at Holderness and nearby towns. A local boat house is planned on land in Concord. A minor accident in Davie court involved a fruit cart, a small boy, and a horse drawing a cart, with no serious injuries.
Concord K. of C. defeated Fitchburg 8 to 1 in a rough, old timers style wean game. Fitchburg fielded veteran players and started strong with a triple. After the match the crowd noted a rooster symbol and the Concord team celebrated at the table with Rooster's toast.
