Union summer services move to Trinitarian Congregational church in Concord center on Sunday July 26 with Rev. Robert H. Barber preaching and Allan Miller West Concord as soloist performing The Blind Ploughman and O Come to My Heart Lord Jesus. E Whittredge Clark Bedford is organist. Service at 9 30 to 10 30 am. Public welcome. Services continue at Trinitarian through August 16 then move to West Concord Union church.
Concord area resident and former Duke University football star Roger Robinson recently visited local relatives before heading to Attleboro to compete in the FBI pistol shoot last weekend. He now works with the New York office of the FBI.

A passerby found an emaciated barn owl trapped in the old West Concord High School building on Stow Street. Miss Sherborn of the Audubon Society, along with staff from the superintendent’s office, gently captured the bird for nursing. The owl showed signs of recovery as Madeline T. Maguire assisted during the rescue.
