Concord residents Mr and Mrs Nason lee Wilkins announce the birth of a baby daughter weighing seven pounds born Sunday July 7 at the Budo hon Hospital in Boston. Mrs Wilkins formerly Ruth Beker of Concord is a grandmother along with Ernest H Wilkins and Jesse F Baker in Carlisle and Boston.

Hubbardville defeated Herronville 8-2 at Emerson Playground Friday, marking their seventh win. The teams met again Monday with Hubbardville winning 4-3 as Bill McCarthy pitched. A Tuesday win over East Quarter could seal them as first half champions.

Funeral from her home with a requiem mass at St Bernard's and burial in St Bernard's Cemetery. Surviving relatives live in Concord Belmont Arlington and Boston.
Miss Wally Bralit of Carlisle married Miss Mezitt of Weston last Saturday evening at First Parish Church Lexington road. Rev. Edward P. Daniels officiated. Matron of honor was Mrs. Donaji Allen of Cleveland. Best man was John Russett of Weston. Bridesmaids were Iréna Asberg of Weston and Anne Leelman of Carlisle. Ushers included Edward Anderson Natick Lyman Bralit Lloyd Wilbur and William Bassett. After a wedding trip they will live in Weston. The bride is a Concord High School graduate and Simmons College alumna who worked with Middlesex County Extension Service. The groom is a Weston High School and Cornell graduate employed by Weston Nurseries.
An unidentified woman was snatched from the tracks at the Boston and Maine station after alighting from a Troy New York bound train. A Somerville trackman named Thomes Connors pulled her clear as a Boston bound train passed. She gave no name and spoke little, though she appeared uninjured.

West Concord resident Mrs Marcella A Simonds Duren died at Emerson Hospital Sunday night after a long illness. Born March 23 1869 in Groton she was the widow of Civil War veteran Charles Duren. Surviving are a son Irving, a brother W C Duren of Venice California and two grandchildren. Funeral from her late home Tuesday afternoon with Rev Kenneth Reed. burial at Groton cemetery. Bearers listed from West Concord.
The 110th Cavalry Massachusetts National Guard commanded by Captain G Donald Meserve conducts field maneuvers near Canton New York with the 102nd New Jersey Cavalry. Units move at 1 30 pm and bivouac on Pierrepont Hill after a 19 mile advance. Brig General Ballantyne presides over a Canton parade described as one of the largest cavalry gatherings in the nation.

Two cars collided on a sun soaked highway injuring one woman seriously and two others slightly. Private John Geross of Boston and Army officers aboard the Fleet car caused a dramatic crash down an embankment. The seriously injured woman, Emma Fleet, was rushed to Emerson Hospital with a broken hip. Army personnel sustained minor injuries while the drivers, Leslie Fleet and the other man, escaped unharmed.
