Concord selectmen have invited Mrs Francis Lowell and the special study group appointed by the planning board to discuss historic zoning. The group is asked to meet on Wednesday Feb 24, the day after the planning board's public hearing, as announced. The Soviet Union reveals plans for a 1666 foot TV tower in Moscow, touted as the world's tallest man made structure.

Archibald outlined a $97.73 estimate with a near $90 rate possible after adjustments while noting a potential $5 to $7 swing. The four and a half hour session covered 54 budget articles including cemetery, police pay, Veterans Building site, town house work, maps, schools, and a 7 percent across the board town employee raise from the new salary scale.
