Hero George Stansfield Rescues Boy From Paper Mill Pond
George Stansfield a Main Street businessman risked his life to save 13 year old Harry Hanson from drowning in the ice cold Paper Mill pond at noon Friday. Hanson and a companion fell through an airhole as they crossed the pond, and Stansfield broke through the ice two feet from the boy and dragged him to shore after reaching him with a belly slide.

Jeng Mokkleren Dies After 40 Years in New Country
Jeng Mokkleren died Wednesday at his home on Weetford Road at age 62. A native of Lotten Norway he immigrated 40 years ago and worked ten years for a farmer before buying the farm where he died. He leaves a widow a married son a daughter and three grandchildren three sisters and many friends. Burial followed at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery with services by Rev. Mr. Tewksbury and songs by Mrs. Otis Forbush as Boston Somerville and Andover neighbors attended.

Confessed to Breaks In Lexington District Court
Roawrenes Scott of 2 Nevet Square Lexington was found guilty of breaking and entering and bid ¢2000 for the grand jury. Scott and William McTonald of Lexington were arrested after a break at Tucker's dry goods store on Mare Avenue. Police found rough stuff to start a small furnishing store in their rooms. The two boys reportedly confessed to more breaks in several stores. Mr and Mrs Daniel Chisholm announce the birth of their son at Deaconess hospital. Both mother and son are doing well.
