Two Inmates Sentenced for Assault at Reformatory

Alan Fourtier and Lewis White, inmates at the Massachusetts State Prison in West Concord, received 7 to 10 year sentences for assaulting officer Leo Farley on October 23. Hurley imposed the sentence in Middlesex County Superior Court East Cambridge. Farley, off duty, suffered a fractured neck after being struck with chairs while ordering the pair out of a shower. Fourtier and White were already serving terms for prior crimes.

14 Year Old Boy Missing Found In Concord Ride Pick Up

Concord police picked up 14 year old David Baker of Sharon who had run away. Officers Sgt Fred Nolan and Patrolman Dominic Pagano found him thumbing a ride on Route 2 at 1 30 am and notified his parents Mr and Mrs Elvin Bunker who brought him home. The boy had been missing since Thursday and had spent the prior night at a Lake Winnipesaukee cottage in New Hampshire.
