Reverend Campbell Dies After Wide Congregational Influence
Reverend Walter W. Campbell former pastor of West Concord Union Church from 1890 to 1908 died in Faulkner Hospital Jamaica Plain after a week as a patient. Born May 4 1862 in Ann Arbor he graduated Harvard AB AM and Andover Theological. He organized the West Concord church and a boys club and helped Sea Scouts. He served 22 years at Rockport and was a longtime civic and educational leader. He is survived by his wife a daughter and a sister Funeral at Rockport First Congregational Church Wednesday at 130 p.m.
