$500000 Approved for Minute Man National Historical Park

The Interior Department allocates 500000 for land acquisition to start the Minute Man National Historical Park in the Concord Lexington Bedford area. Director Conrad Wirth says the funding enables about 310 acres of initial park lands. The act anchors include North Bridge and riverfront properties along routes in Concord and surrounding towns. Ice yachts have been clocked at 144 miles per hour.

Carlisle Man Found Guilty On Two Charges

Concord police charged Carlisle realtor and auc tioneer Sterling R. Davis with leaving the scene after injuring two girls and operating to endanger. A district court verdict found him guilty on both counts. He received two months suspended with one year probation and a $20 fine. Patrolman Costello and Trooper Brown testified for the state.
