Two-Car Route 117 Crash Ends with Heart Attack
On Route 117 Fitchburg turnpike a head on collision left Russell H. Woessner of Lancaster charged with driving to endanger and operating under the influence after he tried to pass a car and lost control. William H. Kugell of Winthrop, driving east, suffered a heart attack and was taken to Emerson Hospital. Both cars were wrecked and towed. Kugell remained for medical care while Woessner faced court action.
