A burglar broke into a location Thursday but failed to steal. coal thefts at Maynard Coal Company were linked to a man named Ford and another time the thief loaded coal from a yard. Maynard Trust Co directors met and Nelson Reed of South Acton was elected rector. The Concord State Guard Veterans Association holds its seventh annual reunion and dinner at the Colonial Inn on February 23 at 7:30 PM with entertainment promised. Concord's Girl Scout Troop formed and will host a bridge party on March 1 at 8 PM in Trinity Arch Parish House, organized by the Girl Scout Community Committee led by Mrs. Howard Swift and others.

Concord High School Stages Noel Coward Comedy
Concord High School presented Noel Coward's light comedy I'll Leave It To You in Veterans Building over two evenings. Under Miss Gertrude H Rideout, the cast featured Dorothy Bass as Mrs Dermott and a bustling ensemble of pupils portraying the modern Dermott family in Mulberry Manor. The farce follows Uncle Dan's scheme to leave his fortune to the niece or the son who earns it, as ambitions rise and loyalties shift across three acts culminating in a moral reconciliation.
