Red Cross Drive Collects 5000 Pounds of Paper

The village rallied Monday February 4 to beat Old Boreas by gathering old newspapers and magazines for the Red Cross treasury. Volunteers delivered several pung loads totaling 5000 pounds. Mrs Holne led the committee including Lizzie Bumpus and Hazel Holt, with assistance from the Boy and Roland Willis.

Body of Mr Chandler Buried After Accident on Boat

The body of Mr Chandler who was accidentally buried on his boat in New York harbor last month was brought Saturday Feb 2 to the home of his sister Mrs Mary Prat om Maynard sr and the burial was from her home Monday morning with interment in Mt Hope cemetery.
