Mrs Merie Grace Heath died suddenly on Acton Street last Friday after a period of poor health. Born in Newton, she was years old and survived by two daughters, a son, a brother, and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday in W A Wombly Parlors with prayers by Rev Fr Sullivan of St Andrews, Concord. Burial will be in the family lot at Carlisle Cemetery.

Concord Town Election Set for Monday February 25
Nomination papers close today at the Board of Registrars for Concord town election the previous Saturday snowstorm reduced caucus turnout. At the January 30 Citizens caucus Frank J. Googins and Edward P. Leino led School Committee and Road Commission contests. several incumbents announced for re election and new candidates emerged for Library and other posts. Fire causes four thousand dollar loss at Concord home
A fire Tuesday noon on Alcott road rear of the Alcott house caused about 4000 dollars damage to a Concord residence owned by Mrs Rose S Mumford and occupied by Mr and Mrs Robert H Daley and their four children. Mrs Daley was alone and alerted by neighbors. The roof was badly burned and the house water-cooked. Daley is a Salem worker recently discharged veteran. owner now lives in New York.
