Miss Margar et Bemis daughter of Mr and Mrs Alan C Bemis of Nashawtlle road wed John C Macone Jr son of Mr and Mrs John C Macone of Lowell road Concord in a 4 pm ceremony at the bride’s home officiated by Rev Arley Parson. The bride wore powder blue lace over satin with heirloom lace cap and a bouquet of gardénias carnations and forget me nots. The couple plans to live in Rapid City South Dakota where the groom serves in the U S Air Force Reserve.

A local youth, David Em Sironen of Plainfeld Road Maynard, was inducted by the Concord Selective Board in December. He returns to duty as of January 29 1952 with Capt. Alfred at 278 Main Street and is expected to report to Tren New Jersey before joining the U S Air Force with service in Korea.

Lincoln Man Dies on Christmas at 75

Thomas John Dee 75 a retired farmer and school bus driver of Tower Road Lincoln died Tuesday morning at home after a short illness. A lifelong Lincoln resident he was active in St Bernard s parish Concord and Knights of Columbus. Surviving his widow Helene and two sisters Ellen Burke and Mary Algeo. Funeral from his home with a requiem high mass at St Joseph s Church burial in St Bernard s Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at his home by members of the aged.

West Concord Child Undergoes Emergency Appendectomy

Five year old West Concord resident Terry Cassidy son of Mr and Mrs William Cassidy of 476 Main street was rushed to Emerson hospital Monday for an emergency appendectomy. He recovered enough to receive a visit from Santa Claus on Tuesday as he improved.

The board of selectmen announces the annual citizens caucus will be held Wednesday night January 16 at the Veterans Building. The closing date to submit articles for the annual town warrant is Thursday January 17 at the Town House office.

Police Shoot Legged Deer Hit By Auto

Concord patrolman Fred Nolan, called Monday morning, shot a three legged yearling buck after it collided with a car driven by Nancy Hosmer on Monument street. The deer, missing its right rear leg, was turned over to Game Warden Henry M Parlee to determine if the meat is fit for state institutions.

Carols Visit Shut-Ins In Concord Community
