Albert Batley returned from Waltham hospital Monday noon in comfortable condition after a compound leg fracture a dislocated thigh and head injuries. Mrs Batley had her injured leg amputated Saturday and is holding her own despite a remarkable recovery progress noted by Mass hospital staff.

The Christmas ball Monday night drew about 50 couples and was a social success. The Christmas tree and entertainment at the church Saturday evening was enjoyed by all, with Old Santa delighting the children.
