Local dealers report a very good holiday trade to date. Various community notices include church events, funerals, gatherings, and social outings. Notable items mention Bluevale factory hiring, skating on the lake, and a lively Christmas season in Concord Junction through December and early January.
Edward Gannon designed a clever window display at the up to date J. F. Gannon shop, attracting passersby with high quality holiday goods. The store interior also features an impressive holiday assortment, and the owner’s year of effort shows in the strong patronage this week.

Thomas T. Davis, longtime Concord resident, died at his daughter’s home early Monday at age 82. He had suffered three years of declining health, and is survived by two daughters and a brother, George B. Davis of California. Funeral services were held Wednesday with Rev. George A. Tewksbury officiating. Burial followed at Sleepy Hollow cemetery.
Monday evening in the town hall the Woman's club hosted Prof. Copeland of Harvard who read from Dickens. The program featured scenes from The Tale of Two Cities and David Copperfield and an early chapter from papers plus Christmas in Bob OCrat chit's home. A large audience enjoyed the entertainment.
Christmas observance will be held at the Trinitarian church next Sabbath with morning services led by Geeee oe. A Sabbath school program is planned for 6 30 in the evening featuring children and others. All are invited.
The Concord High School Reunion Association invites all graduates to its second annual reunion in the Assembly hall at Concord High School on Friday evening December 29 at 8 o'clock. Prof. Edward W. Hanley will exhibit his Modern Hall of Fame followed by refreshments and dancing. Subscription 60 cents.
The Annual Meeting of the stockholders of the Concord National Bank of Concord will be held at their banking house on Tuesday January 9 1906 at 3.45 o'clock p m for the choice of directors and the transaction of any other business that may legally come before said meeting.
