Private Louis Jeliey, son of Mr. Fred Kelley of 208 Main Street, Maynard, Massachusetts, has enlisted in the United States Regular Army. He sailed from New York with 487 other soldiers aboard the transport St. Mihiel bound for Galveston. On arrival they will be sent to Fort Sam Houston for assignment to units in the Eighth Corps Area, including the First Infantry Division and Field Artillery.
