Mr and Mrs Erisman announce the engagement of daughter Dorothy G Erisman to John H Hutchinson Jr son of Mr and Mrs John H Hutchinson of Fairhaven Hill No wedding date yet but expected in spring Both graduates of Concord High School Hutchinson is a pharmacist at Snow Pharmacy owned by Erisman He is a 1st Lieutenant in Co H 182nd Inf MN G of Concord The Erismans have a son William at Lawrence Academy Groton and a former Proprietor of Snow Pharmacy for sixteen years.
Bennie Kogins serves as secretary treasurer for the club which shows strong interest in athletics and has 41 lead in activities.
The Hagen family of Acton High School marks achievements of Robert Gladys and Evelyn Hagen. Robert graduates prepared for medicine with Tufts scholarships and Phi Beta Kappa honors. Evelyn earns valedictorian honors and a college scholarship. Gladys works as a secretary after business college.

Acton group with 31 members elected Curtis Fairbanks as new president. Mrs Ernest H Washburn became vice president and Mrs Ivar Pederson secretary. A decorated tree held gifts. Mrs Hellowell acted as Santa. Retiring officers hosted the event.
The Crusade Union Boy Singers, ages 11 to 19, will perform at the Union Church in Maynard Sunday morning. Director Dr. H B K Whitney will lead the chorus with boy contralto Edwin Johnson, 11, singing a solo. Parishioners will host the visitors after the service. the Men's League sponsors the event.
