Services for Frederick Winsor longtime Middlesex School headmaster were conducted on school grounds with faculty and graduates in attendance. Dr Charles B Park led the tributes and Arthur Motter Lamb played music as the service noted Winsor’s years of service and his surviving family including wife Mrs Paine and children Eliot W Bisbee and Mrs Ratt. The private burial took place at Weston cemetery.

A J Edwards Dies Resident of South Acton
A. J. Edwards of School Street South Acton died Monday after a long illness in his 86th year. Born in England, he was a cabinet maker and a longtime Mason with ties to Mt Olivet Lodge Cambridge and other chapters. Survived by wife Mary J Edwards, a son in Boston, a daughter, a sister in England, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. One son, Sidney John Edwards, killed at Vimy Ridge, is honored by Edwards Square in West Acton. Funeral at the family home Thursday at 2 pm with Masonic rites at Woodlawn Cemetery.
