Scoutmaster Hoely and Sconte Thomas McCabe lead Troop 1 Concord Junction to Camp Neeseponsett No Dana Mass joining other Concord Scouts making seventeen in camp. Concord Tigers beat Aura Lees Cambridge 5 to 2 in eight innings at playgrounds last Wednesday.

The Concord road department aims to complete by September 12 1928 the 288th anniversary of Concord incorporation with the permanent World War Memorial at the easterly end of the Common. It will regrade the grass around the Flag Pole in Monument Square and revive the old stone watering trough with a border of low Laurberry hedge.

Well Known Resident Cahill Dies After Brief Illness
Freq Cahill aged 66 of Somerville died Thursday noon after a brief illness. Born in Nova Scotia he came to Framingham over twenty years ago and served as town constable and lamplighter before electrification. Survived by wife two brothers two sisters and several nieces and nephews funeral held Saturday at 2pm with Rev C F Redstone officiating and Maynard lodge IOOF members as bearers burial in Framingham.
