Auto Hits Pedestrian. two-car collision near Florence Street
Mrs Olive B MacDonald of 469 Columbus Ave drives a car that strikes Miss Mary Rider of 4 Elsinore St and five year old Robert Feurego of Lincoln on Florence St. Rider is severely bruised and confined to bed. Robert suffers bruises and shock. MacDonald claims glare from an approaching car caused the accident. In a separate incident on the same evening George Garfield's car, with Mrs Garfield and Miss Dorothy aboard, is struck by a vehicle owned by Joseph C Sewall of Waltham and driven by C William Hodgke. Garfield escapes with minor injuries. Dorothy and the Garfield car suffer no serious damage. the other car is badly damaged. Freq Hart touring Maine by automobile this week.

Clara Laffin age 18 died Sunday at her Park Street boarding home from intestinal disorders due to food poisoning. She had been sick after eating at Rever Beach Friday with friends. Dr N M Hunter ruled ptomaine poisoning. She worked as a clerk in the shoddy department of Assabet Mills for about three weeks. Funeral is Thursday at 3 pm at the Congregational church in South Acton.

David Scanlon died Saturday after cancer progression while under care at The Holy Ghost Hospital in Cambridge. Survived by a widow, three brothers, and two sisters, he had worked at Boston Harness and planned to open a small repair shop near his home. Funeral held Tuesday at nine from his home with high mass and committal at St Bernard Cemetery Concord.

Collision injures convoy driver and kin in Lexington area
A machine driven by John Sere Ton son of Patrick J Thornton of 22 Cottage Street Concord collided with a car owned by a Revere man on Maple Street East Lexington late Saturday night. The Thornton vehicle sustained windshield wheel and running board damage and was towed. Mrs Thornton, the son and two daughters were shaken but escaped serious injury and are recovering.
