Miss Halbower of the Middlesex Farm Bureau will present a demonstration on drying and evaporating fruits and vegetables at Mrs. Roger W. Brown’s home on North Road Thursday August 23 at 2 30 in the afternoon. The briefing follows a recent well received lecture and the public is invited to attend.
West Acton W B Holt visited Camp Devon at Ayer Saturday afternoon. Several residents and relatives were noted visiting friends and family across nearby towns including Fort Slocum and Baker's Island. Local socials featured trips to Kennebunkport and Five Islands Maine with multiple families vacationing or attending funerals in Baldwinsville.
Mrs. Kempton wife of John M Kempton died last week at CI hospital after a brief decline. She was active in church and sang at the E church. Funeral services were held at her home and at Baldwinville with tributes from the Baptist church Bible class and village residents. She leaves a husband and sister Mrs Mary E B Nichols of Darby Penn.
