Collision injures reformatory officers on Main Street

Mrs Bessie Sheehan aged 60, wife of John Sheehan and longtime Maynard resident, died Sunday night at 8 p m in a rest home. She was born in Ireland and survived by her husband and two brothers. Neighbors and friends paid tribute at the home and a Mass was offered by Father Charles Donahue. Burial followed in the parish cemetery.

Frank Holm dies after brief illness at age 43
Frank Holm of 124 Parker street died at his home Friday night about 9 15 from heart trouble after a short illness. He was overcome by heat two weeks earlier but had recovered briefly. Born in Hesinfors Finland he lived in the U S over twenty years and is survived by his wife. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 30 at his home conducted by Rev Victor Kotila of the Finnish Congregational church. Burial was in Glenwood cemetery.

Birthday Driver Dies After Wet Road Car Crash
Isaac Kiemola aged 23 died from injuries after a Saturday automobile accident on a wet road near 173 Main Street. Pekka, the driver, and another passenger were injured but survived. Kiemola, born in the United States and raised in Finland, died six hours after admission to Massachusetts General Hospital. Burial was at Glenwood Finnish Congregational Church.
