Harry C. Templeton general manager of the American Woolen Company and Ray C. Nelson resident manager of the Assabet Mill were honored at a testimonial at Stow Country Club. More than 500 friends attended with 500 donations noted as gifts for the occasion. Nelson, recently named general manager of all Assabet mills, praised the mill’s progress and credited officials and local leaders including Chief John Connors Representative Major Michael Dee Captain John Dolan of Concord and Rev John Dzick.
