Edwin R. Blake returns from Brooklin Maine. Notables at the Bedford House include Rev. Mr. Skene A. V. Skene Rev. Lauren C Kingman home from two weeks in Maine visiting Augusta Bar Harbor Mt Desert Ferry. Cement dam near Strathmore Worsted mill nearly complete sluice ways to close pond. Mrs Lewis longtime town resident, ill after sleigh accident last winter causing rib breaks and lung injury.

Stores closed Saturday and all business suspended from 3 to 4 30 p m in Concord to honor Col Richard F Barrett whose funeral occurred at that hour. Middlesex Mutual Fire Insurance Co plans to subdivide the old fair grounds into about 60 building lots as surveyors move in.
