Martin Bovey’s Wanderings in the Canadian Wilderness draws wide praise after showings at the Harvard Club of Boston and other groups. The 1600‑foot film documents Ontario and Quebec canoe trips in 1931 1985 and 1936 with striking scenes of trout moose waterfalls and sunsets. Bovey a Carlisle photographer composer and former Harvard Radcliffe instructor will present the film at the Veterans' Building Friday April 30 at eight. The piece is a Jam boree project by Concord Boy Scouts preparing for the National Jamboree in Washington D C this summer.

A breaking and entering case is investigated by Lincoln Police Chief Kelleher after a window was forced at Henry Butcher's home and a small Bosch radio was stolen. Butcher, who leaves for work at 6 45 AM on Route 20, says the radio was his only possession of value.

Mrs Joseph E Montague and her daughter Joan Montague of Vernon British Columbia visited Concord last Sunday staying with Mr and Mrs W W tie of West Concord. They traveled by motor leaving Vernon on April fifth heading via California the southern states to the Atlantic seaboard covering 6506 miles. Mr Montague will join them around May 12. He is the son of Mr and Mrs George W Montague.
Concord Home Industries will award five dollars for the best seal design featuring the Concord Grape as the main motif or decoration. Submit designs to Sidney Coolidge Road or Box 214, Concord, by May 16.
Concord native Maurice McWalter, born twenty four years ago, prepares to build on his father’s long legal career. He graduated top of his class at Concord High, studied business and pre legal courses at Boston University, and planned to enter law school before his sudden death.
