State Historical League meeting on preservation notes
The spring meeting of the State Historical League of Concord Antiquarian Society met with the Arlington Historical Society in the vestry of the First Rural church. Judge James P. Parmenter welcomed delegates and spoke on local historical places and relics. The winter meeting was held January 15 in Boston at the New England Historical Society hall.

War veterans of Concord open new headquarters on Walden St Armory
About 500 people attended the Friday evening opening of the Concord veterans headquarters. The旧 Armory building has been renovated to house Old Concord Post G A R Ralph P. Hosmer Camp United Spanish War Veterans and James J Mansfield Post A L with the latter in general charge. Speakers included Horton Edmonds Samuel Hoar George Francis Wheeler General Charles K Darling and James T Duane. The main hall on the ground floor houses the platform reception room kitchen and upstairs rooms for the G A R Spanish War Veterans and the Legion. The Concord Country Club lent a pool table and an officers room with flag room and writing desks.

Painter Falls At Home. Minor Injuries Reported
Sir Jacobs, a 40 year old painter living on Tremont Street, fell at his home and was taken to hospital at 11 45. Doctors found lip cuts and performed three stitches. He was at work painting a binding when the accident occurred. Asparagus cutting begins at the Rice Farm with shipments to Worcester and local dealers already underway.
