Easter at West Concord Union Church draws large crowds
Easter services at West Concord Union Church on Sunday filled the auditorium and overflowed into the adjoining Sunday school room. The vested choir and organist Miss Gertrude H Rideout led musical selections including Easter Morning prelude and Untold Ye Portals. Pastor Rev Alfred Wheeler Stone delivered a Lent sermon on Life Everlasting. Twenty one new members joined during the morning service and a mystery play Whom Beek Ye r was staged under Miss Rideout and Miss Mildred Stone with Miss J Arnold Lowery at the organ.
