J T Foster Enters Duty in Marine Corps Reserve
Concord patrolman John T. Foster, son of Potter Street, has been recommissioned with a captain's rating in the U S Marine Corps reserves and left for an unnamed base. He is called to active duty and will leave his wife and two children in Concord temporarily. Foster, a World War I veteran who was decorated and wounded in action, has served as a Concord officer for 12 years. A wrist watch was presented to him before his departure by Patrolman Frederick Nolan, inscribed Capt J T Foster U S M C from the Concord Cops.

Middlesex Loses Season Opener to Waltham at Home
