Officials duel for long-distance ambidexterity record
Secretary Lansing and Secretary Baker claim the world’s ambidexterity record in a public demonstration. Lansing handled diplomatic correspondence with one hand while drafting Gibson girl profiles with the other, all while smoking. Baker signed army commissions with one hand and dispatched them to a messenger as he listened to mail and dictated replies, smoking throughout. The competition remains neck and neck.
