The District Attorney of Middlesex County will be the guest speaker at the Men’s Club supper at Trinitarian Congregational Church Friday night April 10. He will discuss “Problems in Crime.”
At a joint meeting of the Citizen's Council and the Concord School Committee plans were laid for an extensive visiting program tied to town decisions on school needs from the March town meeting. Three sub committees were appointed and trips listed with several escorts for Supt. Morrill.

He has been named New England field representative for the denomination s publishing and service activities. Combined choirs from participating churches will sing chorales and invite public attendance.

West Concord veteran Sgt. William F. McNally Jr. of the U S Army has been awarded the Bronze Star for meritorious service in Korea. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. William F. McNally of 12 Elm Place, received a citation. Bill McNally, a Concord High and Boston College athlete, left Korea March 9 for Japan and expects to return about April 10 after 17 months of service with MPs.
Concord Taxpayers Association sponsored an open meeting at the Girl Scout House on Monday night with Concord-Norman MacDonald, executive director of the Massachusetts Federation of Taxpayers Association, speaking on Can Taxe Be Reduced in 1953. A well-attended session followed a question period.

Moss wins top prize at a two day exhibit co sponsored by the school and Lions Club titled Selenography describing the moon and its phenomena. Other winners include Madden with a wind tunnel model and Clark with cinerama. Nearly 1 000 attendees viewed exhibits and blue and red ribbons were awarded to numerous students.
