In the Chancery Court at Johnson City Tennessee a decree from December term 1804 orders sale by public outcry at Jobe's opera house Johnson City of lot 23 and 24 in block 65 Carnegie Land Company's Addition to Johnson City to satisfy a $210.82 decree plus interest and costs with six month credit and notes bearing interest. A second notice lists sale of personal property including beds bureaus chairs and more to satisfy a $197.52 decree with six month credit. A third notice details a nonresident defendant G W Wolfe and requires four weeks publication in Tow Corner Johnson City before May 1898 to hear defenses. Also an unrelated job ad seeks a salesman for nursery stock in Winchester Tennessee.
