Funeral Held for Mrs. Rogan After Tragic Car Fall

Mrs. Lillie Rogan wife of Rev. J W Rogan pastor at Red Bank Pres byterian, was killed when she fell from a Berkshire electric railway car near Great Barrington Miss while on vacation with her husband. The accident caused a swift stop, and she died instantly from a fractured skull. The Rogans had planned a four week trip through New England. Funeral services in Red Bank were held with church committees and Bristol Central Presbyterian resolutions honoring her work ethic and faith. The interment was at Oak Hill cemetery beside Dr Rogan.

Hodges Rapidly Recovering After Memphis Wreck

M L Hodges, veteran railway mail clerk believed fatally wounded in the Memphis wreck near Bristol two weeks ago, is recovering at St Luke s hospital Hix ton. Fellow clerk Brave A Hodges was killed. the two were hurried under a mail car. Doctors now expect no amputation and better arm use, while Hodges right leg injury also improves. Other two clerks injured have recovered.
