Death of W. Coker at 67 in Has se and related notices
W. Coker 67 of Hasse died Sunday September 17 after a brief illness in a Dublin hospital. Funeral services were held September 21 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home Chapel in Comanche with Rev L C Dodd officiating. Burial followed at Sardis Cemetery near Hasse. He was born October 3, 1893 near Proctor and was a retired railroad mechanic who lived with his sister C C Gilstrap. Survivors include another sister Mrs R E Gilstrap of Houston and two sons Fred Coker of Los Angeles and Dan Coker of Riverside. Also noted, John Sullivan a 1925 Comanche High graduate and longtime San Antonio teacher visited his mother Lizzie Sullivan. formerly principal of Hamilton High School.
