Higginbothams of Comanche notified of Baylor University acceptance of its bid to redecorate Memorial Women's Dormitory in Waco. The project includes extensive overhauls of lobby drawing rooms and parlors with pale chiffon walls, gold carving highlights, crystal chandeliers, and new furnishings coordinated with Home Interiors and Gifts in Dallas. Barrage of donors supported prior renovations in 1970 and the dorm now houses about 212 girls across 100 rooms with honors status.
