Casing Set This Week On East Hasse Well
Drilling resumed Tuesday on the well a mile east of Hasse on the C. T. White Lease. Spudded in spring by Magness Nabors Martin and Burks, the rig reached 405 feet before suspension. Casing is expected to be set within the week.

Four car loads of sheep shipped to Comanche
Four car loads of sheep were shipped into Comanche last Friday. Three cars from Eldorado Texas were consigned to Clarence Albin and one car to Basil McPherson. The flocks were put on pasture. Jack Clayton left Monday for Clarksville Ohio to purchase 150 registered De Laine lambs for the Clayton Brothers flock.

The Brownwood Poultry Show crowned top in several classes with six additional firsts. A Rhode Island Reds sweep led overall wins, while a young pen captured best parti colored birds and a young hen topped all parti colors. The Rhode Island class secured first in cock, pullet, and young pen with thirds in hen, cockerel, and pullet. At Brown County Fair, M. Caraway led in beet cattle with first-place finishes across the division.
