Comanche Junior High Graders Split With Clyde Teams
Comanche 7th and 8th graders split with Clyde on Thursday night October 21. The 8th grade team won 20 to 0 at Clyde while the 7th grade fell 20 to 8. Scorers included Eddie Strube Doodle Kinkade and Lloyd Martinez with strong line play from Dendy Feist and key defensive work by Bryant Sears George Reyes and others.

Open House Planned at De Leon Church This Sunday
Open house is planned Sunday afternoon October 31 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church buildings. A spokesman said tacos pies and cakes will be sold during the festivities from 2:00 to 5:00 p m. Frs. Ramirez and Barry urged all to visit the De Leon Church facilities.

Strawn Greyhounds Crush Sidney Eagles in 38 12 Victory
Strawn kept its district 6-B six man football record clean with a 38 12 win over Sidney. Carl Frazier scored three touchdowns on 20 and 79 yard runs and a 40 yard pass from Jimmy Tittle. Tittle added four extra points. Donnie Purvis and Joe Hopkins contributed scores while Tommy Diaz scored Sidney’s two TDs.
