The PHA monthly meeting held October 20 at 11 00 pm in the Homemaking Department was called to order by President Linda Mazurek. Secretary and treasury reports were read, and Red roses were given to the Girl of the Month for June July September and October. Plans for the Halloween Carnival were discussed.
The Social Security Administration reports 3,301 Comanche County residents receive monthly retirement payments, up from 2,828 four years earlier. Average annual payment per recipient reached 1,784 dollars, with total local disbursements at 5,892,000 that year.
The children and relatives of W. M. Hill express gratitude for gifts flowers food and prayers during his illness and loss. Special thanks are given to Dr Dan Mims and the nurses of Community Hospital. May God reward you all.
