On a voyage a kidnap attempt unfolds as Susan and a countess vanish after a forged document. A drowning claim follows and Florence is later found alive aboard a fishing schooner, rescued and tended by the crew.

Florence Leaps to Sea Then Is Saved by Fishermen

Florence jumps from the Atlantic liner to escape a ship and is saved by clinging to a buoy. She drifts ashore near Captain Barnes in a small New England harbor, aided by Barnes and his wife as doctors monitor her concussion and memory loss. Meanwhile slick villains plot to claim her, while Norton, a reporter, is captured and menaced by the Black Hundred along with a scheming aristocrat Blaine. Florence’s memory remains foggy but her presence unsettles those pursuing her.
