Pilot Morris Morris promoted to lieutenant colonel in war service
Lt Colonel Morris Norman G. Morris son of Earl S. and Mrs. Morris of Sipe Springs and Katy Texas has been raised from major to lieutenant colonel. A fighter pilot and squadron leader in the South Pacific he holds the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with multiple decorations. He has flown since February 1942 around New Guinea and recently received the Air Medal for 25 operational missions.
