Mammoth Circus Comes to Brownwood Texas for 16 Show
Robbins Bros Big 4 Ring Show to perform on Saturday October 16 in Brownwood with a street parade. The expanded circus features two mammoth pageants, three elephant herds, a hippopotamus from Africa, 200 wild animals and 400 horses. It showcases Count Cimmerio horses, Japanese, Arabian acts, Sioux Indians, cowboys, and a world parade of nations setting a western tour milestone.

I A Dingler of Carbon attended Fair On Old Settlers Day noting he moved from Georgia to Comanche County in 1875, settled near Hazle Dell, then bought 160 acres west of Sidney before relocating to Carbon to run a hardware and mercantile business with his son. He served in Co F Cobbs Infantry, Civil War, attends reunions, and near 50 years in the county.
