Hamilton County Fair a Huge Success in Hamilton Texas
The Hamilton County Fair, Sept 14 to 16, under I L Telford and Miss Georgia Lacewell, drew large crowds and praised exhibits from Aleman Agee Meridian Creek Lund Sunshine and Hamilton clubs. Girls from those clubs earned trips to the Dallas fair Encampment. several boys won stock judging trips though names aren’t listed. A free barbecue dinner on day two brought over three thousand visitors by noon.

Texarkana Arkansas September 19 Texas will contest an interstate commerce commission order granting the St Louis Southwestern railway permission to dismantle the main line of the Eastern railroad of Texas running from Lufkin to Crockett forty miles. The suit will be heard in the federal district court of Texas here next Wednesday.
