City Tax Collector Reeves issues the latest tax rolls showing total valuations of 2,028,625.00 with estate and property values of 1,295,085.00 and 733,540.00 respectively. School district assessments total 2,240,383.00 with fund allocations of 5,071.56 for the Assral Fund and 5,071.50 for bonds.

Comanche County Exemption Board Reports Draft Quota Fill
The Comanche County Exemption Board says 1000 men were examined and certified 227 to the District Board with eight released and 11 remaining, while 54 failed to appear. They expect 237 men will be credited, as many were in the army when called. Next group of 47 men leaves for training on Monday at 2 30 p m. names not yet released.

Comanche Texas City Council enacts a ordinance prohibiting spitting on sidewalks or against building walls adjacent to public sidewalks.
