Mrs Mollie Moore Godbold returned to Comanche last Friday after a southern tour including Atlanta New Orleans and other cities. The play is receiving enthusiastic notices and Mrs Godbold takes pride in her work as its author. California farmers sell cooperatively via marketing associations
More than half of California farmers market through cooperative associations, with about twenty-five active groups. The California Fruit Growers Exchange leads, marketing 50 million dollars of citrus from 11,000 members and controlling around 70 percent of the orange and lemon crop. Death of Willie D Dunlap Two and a Half in Comanche Area
The city records the death on Thursday the 4th of Willie D Dunlap aged two and a half, son of Claude and Mrs Dunlap who live nine miles north of Comanche. He suffered two weeks with infantile paralysis and died at W D Jenkins's home. Funeral was held the next day as relatives and friends extend sympathy in the family’s bereavement.
