Jack Isham Pioneer Family Member Dies in Brownwood
Francis Jackson Isham aged 66 a Comanche County pioneer died at Medical Arts Hospital Brownwood after a two week illness. Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church of Comanche with Rev. R. M. McGinnis officiating. Interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery. Survived by wife Nora B. McMurray, children C. A. Roberson, L. J. Isham, Rita Isham, two grandchildren and one great grandchild, five brothers, and five more relatives. He worked as a farmer blade operator for the highway department and at Coca Cola Brownwood the last years.

Workman Falls Three Stories At Peanut Plant
Seth Scott a 47 year old Comanche man fell from the third story of the Texas Peanut Company plant while checking the elevator Tuesday. He suffered bruises a dislocated shoulder and several arm bones. After treatment at a local physician he was moved to a German hospital where he was reported as well as expected. He reportedly rolled a wheelbarrow onto a platform near a third floor door looked down to see the elevator and lost balance hitting a scaffold on the second floor. He is the son of Henry Scott of Downing.
