Fort Worth cattle market shows higher prices amid tight supplies

Fat cattle prices in Fort Worth climbed as floods reduced Missouri and Mississippi Valley supplies. Feeder steers and yearlings sold strong with several loads and individuals trading in the 28 to 38 dollar range for 500 to 950 pound cattle. Club calf programs and commercial feeds drive diversified farming gains in the area.
