Moody and Parrish Families Visit in Texas Towns

Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Moody of Waco spent the weekend with their daughter Mrs. Ronnie Stephens and Mr. Stephens. From Hamilton Mr. and Mrs. Newton Parrish and Leonard Bee cham of Hamilton spent Sunday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schlee.

Queisners Celebrate Golden Wedding Anniversary

Mr and Mrs A E Queisner observed their Golden Wedding Anniversary with an open house at their Rt 4 Comanche home on Sunday May 5. Seven of nine daughters hosted. more than sixty guests attended with forty one weekend visitors from eight states including California Utah Nebraska and Florida. Texas guests came from Fort Worth Newburg and Comanche. Family members included four sons in law seventeen grandchildren two grandsons in law six great grandchildren plus a sister brother and other relatives. The present to the couple was a money tree for a new TV set and many other gifts and flowers were received.

Coffee Honors Cindy Parks In Midland

Cindy Kay Parks bride elect of Hal Michael Gill was honored with an introductory coffee on a Saturday in Midland. Mrs. Audrey L. Gill hosted the event at the Gill parents home with Mrs. W. J. Parks and the honoree’s mother present. Guests enjoyed finger rings coffee cake and pineapple toes. The table featured a crocheted cloth and a spring bouquet in the bride colors. A luncheon followed hosted by Mrs. B. B. Pyeatt of Dallas.

Clemons Family Weekend Visit From Dallas

The Clemons hosted their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Case and Carey, from Dallas for the weekend. Mrs Case and Carey stayed in Comanche for a week visiting their parents.

Tilden Barfield United In Marriage

Miss Beverly Louise Tilden and David Hugh Barfield wed at Fielder Road Baptist Church Arlington in a 3 p.m. ceremony officiated by Rev. David Michael. The couple, from Arlington, receives guests in white and blue details with a three tiered cake and spring bouquets. After a honeymoon to Hot Springs they reside in Arlington. The bride attended Stephen F. Austin University and works at Central Industrial Supply in Grand Prairie. The groom, Arlington High School graduate, works at Royal Tool and Dye Mfg in Grand Prairie.
