Voters to Decide $9 Million Bond for Comanche High School
In a March 20 special meeting the Comanche Independent School District trustees approved a bond election for April 19 to fund a new high school facility. The plan includes a $2 million option atop earlier $1.4 million or other alternatives, with accreditation concerns raised by Dr. H. E. Phillips of the Texas Education Agency. If approved, construction could begin by 1976, with site considerations and bids due by June 1.
