With election day set for Saturday April 5 voters will cast ballots in Comanche County for city and school posts. Absentee ballots totaled 184 in hospital district and 168 in district races by Tuesday, while a $2 million bond vote for a new high school is set for April 19 and statewide constitutional amendments follow on April 22.

Foreign missionary Dan N. Sharpley and his wife Doris Alfred Sharpley will discuss Baptist work in Brazil during the Wednesday worship hour at 7 30. Appointed in 1948 they have served in Santa Maria Porto Alegre and Rio de Janeiro and now direct the Brazilian Baptists Property Holding Board. The Sharpleys have three grown children and invite all to hear them at First Baptist Church.
